Jalapeño Cilantro Salsa Recipe

Sometimes nothing hits the spot more than a good, homemade salsa. This is a simple salsa recipe that will soothe that craving.

Sauce & Dressing Mexican, Spanish

Let’s get a little funky with a quick, simple, raw salsa that will have you dipping to the last drop. Cilantro, jalapeños, garlic, limes, red onions, and olive oil (though we don’t recommend tossing glass bottles around like we do in the video). That’s it. That’s all you need to make fantastic cilantro lime green chili salsa.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cilantro
  • ½ red onion, diced
  • 5 jalapeños, seeded and chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

Toss all the ingredients in a food processor or blender, whip it up, and enjoy. Salt it to taste.

The salsa tastes best if you eat it the same day you make it, but it’ll last in the fridge for a day or two—though you may have to give it a quick mix to reincorporate any separated olive oil.
