To use: first make a fine puree of nuts, seeds, vegetables or fruit. Fill a bag with the puree and gently press down from the bottom, allowing the liquid to flow into a large container. You can drink the milk or juice immediately or use it as an ingredient in various recipes. The leftover fibre from the nuts and seeds can be used in cake crusts, porridge or biscuits. Use the vegetable scraps to make crackers and add the fruit pulp to your favorite smoothie. You can also make cheese by leaving the churned cheese mixture in a bag to ferment. After use, wash the bag under warm running water.

100% organic cotton

WHY ORGANIC COTTON?

  • Conventional cotton cultivation and the production of cotton garments have a negative impact on the environment and the farmers and workers that the textile industry supports.

  • Cotton fields occupy less than 3% of the world's cultivated land but consume around 25% of all insecticides and 10% of all herbicides. Cotton cultivation involves the massive use of chemicals that are banned in food production .

  • Cotton is one of the most genetically modified plants, especially to tolerate higher-than-average doses of chemicals.

  • Around half a kilo of pesticides and synthetic fertilisers are used to produce one T-shirt and one pair of jeans.

  • The use of toxic chemicals, which cause poisoning in farm workers and harm the environment, and genetically modified organisms are prohibited in the cultivation and production of organic cotton.

  • Certified farms strive to build a biodiverse farming system and maintain soil fertility naturally.

  • Unlike conventionally grown cotton, organic cotton does not cause allergic reactions. It is therefore suitable for children, allergy sufferers, eczematics and people with sensitive skin.

CERTIFICATION

This Organic-cotton bag meets the high standards of the international GOTS organisation. The cultivation of the bio-cotton is monitored and controlled from the seed to the final processing of the fabric, including sewing. Inspectors also oversee the social conditions of the workers (video on growing and producing biocotton). The product is approved by the National Institute of Health for food use.

Jaka je prosim vydrz tohoto produktu? Myslim kolikrat v nem vyrobim mleko, nez ho budu muset vyhodit?
Dekuji za odpoved!

Michaela Ptáčková odpověděl:

Krásný den, Natálie,

to jsme dosud neměřili, takže bohužel neodpovím, pro představu já dělám mléko každý týden a mám ho asi dva roky. Vždy ho po použití ihned opláchnu pod tekoucí teplou vodou a nechám uschnout.

S pozdravem Michaela
