Pizza Rolls from Dried Tomatoes with Spinach
Everybody knows favourite pizza snails! We have prepared them in a raw version from dried tomatoes and we have added spinach into the filling. However, there are no borders for your fantasy.
Salty snacks
Ingredients:
- 150 g of golden linseeds
- 100 g of sunflower seeds
- 120 g of dried tomatoes (pre-soaked)
- 2 teaspoons of pizza spices
- a handful of fresh oregano
For cheese filling, you will need:
- 100 g of pre-soaked cashew nuts
- 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of water
- salt, pepper
For vegetable filling, you will need:
- a handful of spinach
- 1 spring onion
Instructions:
Ground linseed and sunflower seeds into powder. Make paste from dried tomatoes and mix it together with the seed powder. Season it with herbs and process it into tough dough. If the dough is sticky, you can use the linseed powder for sprinkling it.
Roll the dough into an even shape, spread with the cheese filling, leaves of fresh spinach, sprinkle with spring onion and roll it carefully into a roll in a cling film. Cut the roll into stronger slices. Put the ready pizza rolls on a sieve and dry it for 10 hours.
Of course, you don’t have to dry the rolls. If you are impatient, they taste delicious even undried.
