Sweet Easter Eggs
Pop-cakes or bonbons are great Easter presents and even more if they are shaped into eggs. You can decorate them with anything you find – nuts, carrot, daisies or violet petals.
For children, Sweets Cashews
Ingredients (10 eggs):
- 1 medium carrot
- 100 g finely grated coconut
- 50 g grounded Organic Cashew nuts
- 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg flower
- 2 tablespoon of Coconut Sugar
- Himalayan Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- A few Organic walnuts
- 100 g of RAW 100% chocolate
- Maple syrup
- Something for decoration (carrots, edible flowers, nuts)
Directions:
Grate the carrot and squeeze the juice out of it. Mix with coconut, cashew nuts, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and walnuts. Sweeten with coconut sugar, season with a pinch of salt and add vanilla extract. We shape the eggs, which we let harden in the fridge or for a while in the freezer.
In the meantime, let's make the chocolate for the frosting. Melt 100% raw chocolate, sweeten with dark maple syrup and add a pinch of salt.
And we go to the final. We dip the end of the stick in chocolate and carefully stick it into the carrot egg, cover with chocolate and decorate according to our imagination. Let it harden in the fridge and give it to carolers.
