Extra Virgin Olive Oil Picual Organic

Cold-pressed virgin olive oil from the Picual variety. It is made from ripe olives grown in biodynamic agriculture in Spain.

The Picual variety is known for its mildly pungent flavour, which indicates a high polyphenol content (778 mg/ 1l). These are antioxidants that act as a natural preservative, while having a positive effect on our health.

This oil is one of the most stable olive oils and is highly resistant to rancidity. It retains its properties two to three times longer than other varieties.

It is suitable for everyday use in hot and cold cuisine. It has a high smoke point (210°C), so it is also suitable for grilling, roasting and frying. It is also great in salads, dips, sauces, marinades, soups and even just with fresh bread.

In addition to its polyphenol content, the high quality of this oil is also appreciated for its vitamin E content.

Of course, the way in which olive oil is processed and its freshness are also important for its quality. We have chosen one that does not compromise on either. It is pressed purely mechanically, cold and as soon as possible after the harvest itself, so that the olives do not have time to oxidise.
