Vitamin K1 or phylloquinone or phytomenadione is a fat-soluble vitamin and is significantly involved in normal blood clotting.

Due to its combination with MCT oil, it is easily absorbed by our body. MCT oil is made up of small molecules, so the body does not need to digest it. It simply gets further into the body as a carrier of vitamin K1.

There are three forms of vitamin K - K1, K2 and K3. They differ mainly in structure, function and storage in the body.

Vitamin K1 is mainly found in leafy vegetables, broccoli, spinach or beans. Vitamin K2 is mainly found in animal products and fermented soy. Vitamin K3 is synthetically produced and is only given to animals.
