Broccoli in nutritional yeast batter
Maybe you didn't like broccoli once. However, this method is not at all similar to boiled broccoli, and it is worth trying. We like green vegetables, and especially broccoli, best when they are nicely cooked. The ends of the rosettes will be crispy and their nutty flavor will stand out.
Main dish General
Ingredients:
- ½ broccoli
- 2 heaping tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon Korean chili gochugar
- 1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons (roasted) sesame oil
Instructions:
Cut the broccoli into florets and cut each one in half. This creates more room for caramelization. We cut off the hard skin from the stalk and cut it into sticks. In a larger bowl, mix the remaining ingredients for the dough and thoroughly coat the broccoli in it.
Serve raw with a little lime, or spread on baking paper and bake at 200°C until dark and crispy. Serve the finished broccoli immediately with rice, or on bread with a creamy spread or as a side dish.
Enjoy your meal!
